HVCC Coach Matt Johnson Named NJCAA Region 3 Coach of the Year

Five Players Join Coach Johnson in Receiving Region 3 Honors

Congrats to HVCC Lacrosse Coach Matt Johnson on being named NJCAA Region 3 Coach of the Year. Johnson, an alum of the Bethlehem HS and UAlbany Lacrosse programs, led the Vikings to a 9-5 record on the season, which concluded with a loss to Genesee CC in the Region 3B Championship game.

2019 saw HVCC qualify for the NJCAA Region 3 tournament for the third straight season, and represented the program’s first trip to the Championship Game since 2012. Congrats to Coach Johnson, and the rest of the HVCC coaching staff, and players on a great season.
