Capital District Players Selected for 2018 Under Armour Events

Congrats to the Capital District Boys and Girls Selected to Play in the Under Armour Underclass Tournament, and Uncommitted Showcase!!!

Following a regional tryout and selection process, rosters have been announced for the Under Armour Underclass Tournament, and Uncommitted Showcase.

UNDERCLASS TOURNAMENT

The 2018 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament will take place June 28- July 1 at Towson University.

The 2018 Tournament will again feature two divisions in each region- the Command Division and Highlight Division. The Command Division will showcase players from the 2021 and 2022 high school graduation years, while the Highlight Division will feature the 2019 and 2020 players. Each division will compete within itself at the tryouts and main event.

Each team will battle it out in a pool play tournament at the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Weekend to be crowned the Nations’ Elite.

Regions Include: Baltimore, CONNY, Long Island (NY) Upstate New York, Midwest, Philadelphia, New England, New Jersey, South, Southwest, Washington, D.C., West

UNCOMMITTED SHOWCASE

Aside from the 22 players chosen for each Underclass Tournament team, four uncommitted (to college) players from each of the graduating classes will be invited to compete and showcase themselves in front of the coaches at Towson University on Under Armour All-America Weekend.

A total of 48 players in each of the graduating classes – 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 – for both boys and girls have been selected by the regional evaluators and coaches after the final regional teams are picked.
