2018 Queensbury Girls Lacrosse Season Preview

Queensbury Girls’ Lacrosse NYSPHSAA Section 2, Class B, Foothills Council

2018 represents David Huth’s third year as Head Coach of the Queensbury Girls’ Lacrosse Team.  Under Huth’s guidance, the Spartans have amassed an overall record of 31-7, and two-time Sectional Finals Runner-Up.

Coming off a 16-2 record last season, Coach Huth offered that the core of the 2018 Queensbury team will primarily be young athletes, with only five upperclassmen.

Goals for 2018 include “Unifying as a team and winning the Sectionals.” Players expected to make significant contributions include Rachel Spaulding and Maddie Montgomery.  Coach Huth reports the team to include three college commits, Spaulding a UNH commit, Montgomery a Hobart & William Smith commit, and Lauren White an Ithaca commit.
