The Siena College Men’s Lacrosse team visits Michigan today (Sat 3/3/18) with the contest set to face off at Noon. The Saints enter the game with a 2-0 record with wins over Hobart (12-11) and UMass Lowell (14-13 OT); while the Wolverines stand at 2-2 with wins over Cleveland State and Bellarmine, and losses to two nationally ranked teams in Penn and Yale.
Chris Robertson leads the Saints with ten points over the two games played (4G, 6A), followed by Mike Reilly with 7 points (4G, 3A). Two former local high school standaouts, Nick Pepe, a freshman midfielder from nearby Shaker HS, and Anthony Tebbano, a freshman goalie from Shenendehowa are making an immediate impact for the Saints. Pepe has scored 3 goals for the Saints, while Tebbano earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors following the Saints season opening victory at Hobart.
Bren Noseworthy comes into the game as the Wolverines’ leading scorer with 13 points (12G, 1A) over four games.
At the face off x, Siena comes in having won 46% of its attempts, while Michigan has won 48% of theirs.
