UAlbany Meet and Greet for Season Ticket Holders

Connor Fields – 66 goal scorer in 2015, with Mike Tesoriero – 62 goal scorer in 1992!!!

On Tuesday February 6, 2018 the UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse Team held a meet and greet for season ticket holders at the City Line Bar and Grill.  Following opening remarks from Associate Athletic Director Vic Cegles, Head Coach Scott Marr then addressed those in attendance, thanking the group for their support, and noting that 2018 season ticket sales are up 700% from last year.  You read that right a 700% increase!!!  Coach Marr also recognized event attendee Steve Jakway as a member of the first UAlbany Lacrosse team, which will be celebrating its’ 50th anniversary later this season

Coach Marr commented that the team played well in last weekend’s scrimmage against Colgate, considering that they only have a couple weeks of outdoor full field practice in.  He noted that while expectations for the team are high, many 2018 opponents common to last year’s schedule have improved, and the team will have to be well prepared and up to play every game.

After introducing the rest of the Great Danes coaching staff, and a select group of players who were in attendance, Coach Marr wrapped up the formalities by taking some questions from the group.  The coaches and players in attendance spent the remaining time at the event mingling with attendees and signing autographs.

Following check out a gallery of our selected pics from the event.

The Great Danes visit Princeton for a scrimmage on Saturday before opening regular season play against Syracuse in the Carrier Dome on February 17, 2018.
