Adrianne Devine to be Inducted into the Shaker HS HOF

Adrianne Devine Takes the Draw at Georgetown

On Saturday October 7, 2017, former Shaker High School Girls’ Lacrosse standout Adrianne Devine will be inducted into the Shaker High School Sports Hall of Fame.  While at Shaker, Devine starred in lacrosse, basketball, and soccer for the Bison.  As a four year varsity starter in lacrosse, Devine led the team in total points as a Sophomore (tie), Junior & Senior.  She concluded her high school lacrosse career with 295 Career Points (186 goals/109 assists), earning US Lacrosse First Team All American & Academic All American honors as a Junior & Senior.

Devine went on to play at Georgetown, where as a senior was elected co-captain, and was voted most valuable player.  She was twice was unanimously selected First Team All Big East, as well as the All Tournament First Team and again for the second time placed on the Southern Region All American Team.

As a defender at Georgetown, she led the team in caused turnovers her last two years and finishing 2nd in her sophomore year. She led the team in ground balls her last 3 years and in shooting percentage as a senior.
All Time she is currently 5th in career caused turnovers, 4th in caused turnovers in a single season and
16th in career Draw Controls.

Also being inducted into the Shaker HOF are Bill Coghill, Marissa Amiraian, Tad Knight, and Kristen Hayes.
