Siena Women to Host Hartford, Holy Cross, and LIU Brooklyn

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, the Siena Women’s Lacrosse Team will be hosting a multi-team Fall Ball scrimmage.  Hartord, in its inaugural season of D1 women’s lacrosse, Holy Cross, and LIU Brooklyn will be joining the Saints in the event which begins at Noon on the Siena College Turf Field.

Tentative match-ups and starting times are as follows:

12-1PM: Siena vs. Holy Cross
1-2PM: Hartford vs. LIU Brooklyn
2-3PM: Holy Cross vs. Hartford
3-4PM: Siena vs. LIU Brooklyn

When asked about her team’s goals for Fall Ball, Siena Coach Bryana Borrelli offered,

“Continued growth for our youthful and talented team. Looking forward to playing a fast paced, gritty style. The fall is always a great opportunity to push the limits and get creative! The kids have been working hard and competing which will bring this program to a whole new level. Lot’s of energy and enthusiasm for the season to come.”

In addition to hosting Saturday’s event, the Siena Women’s Lacrosse Fall Ball schedule includes visiting RPI on October 8th, Rutgers University on Oct. 15th, and UMASS Lowell on Oct. 21st.

2017 Clinic Registration Form Get Acrobat Reader

Siena Women’s Lacrosse will hold a fall clinic and prospect day on Sunday, September 24 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Siena Turf Field. The clinic is open to all girls in Grades 9-12 and the cost is $90 for the session.

The Siena Women’s Lacrosse Fall Clinic is administered by head coach Bryana Borrelli, assistant coach Rachael Burek and student athletes from the current Saints’ squad. The session includes instruction on stick skills, shooting, dodging, defense and more.
