Applications are being accepted for the following vacancy on the Non-Teaching Professional staff of Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy, New York.



In order to be considered an applicant for this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must also possess a valid New York State driver license. Evening and weekend work is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree or 60 college credits; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred candidate will have a background in lacrosse as a coach and/or athlete and an appreciation for junior college athletics. Applicants demonstrate a sincere commitment to principles of academic/athletic integrity.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Men’s lacrosse Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all facets of the men’s lacrosse program including but not limited to:

  • Monitor academic progress of student-athletes
  • Game day preparation
  • Plan and conduct pre-season, practice, and post season sessions
  • Recruit student athletes
  • Scouts opponents
  • Attend all home and away events
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • The Salary Range is available upon request
